Report a fraudulent website
We are aware that there are some scam websites pretending to be the official DEWALT® account or a real sales platform for DEWALT products. These sites are advertising on social media, like Facebook®, offering DEWALT products at prices far below leading retailers. These scam sites aim to commit fraud by stealing your credit card information or obtaining non-refundable payments from you.
DEWALT does not sell tools directly to end users online. You can check if a website is an authorized reseller by visiting the Authorized Retailer list on the DEWALT website: https://za.dewalt.global/find-a-retailer.
What to do if you believe you have bought from a fake website
If you gave your credit card number or bank information to a suspected scammer, take these steps:
- Contact your bank or credit card company: Inform your financial institution immediately so they assist in stopping future charges on your account
- Report the scam: Please contact DEWALT so we can investigate the scammer. Provide any information you have, such as the URL of the website through: https://support.dewalt.com/hc/en-za/requests/new
Stay vigilant and protect your personal information from online scams.
